Toy Thursday
This week for Toy Thursday we give you some retro advertisements from the 80's.
Before Tickle ME Elmo there was Talking ALF. This is a great representation of how bad and yet how great the 80's was.
This next one is a classic, as we are introduced to the Michael Jackson doll. I wonder, if they did an update for this ad now whether the doll would look more like a Barbie.
Snail Car
Instructables is holding a contest where the most amazing HOWTO, as selected by the readers, will win $20,000 worth of Craftsman tools. There are nearly 200 entries, from a car that runs on trash to an LED hula hoop to a six-legged robot. All of the projects are amazing for different reasons. Our vote goes to The Golden Mean of Jon Sarriugarte and Kyrsten Mate's dreamy Snail Car.
